Drawing, as one of humanity’s earliest forms of visual expression, played a fundamental role in the creation of pictorial representations. It is through drawing that the origins of writing can be traced, as both practices share a common process of tracing. At the heart of this shared ground lies the line—a powerful entity that has the ability to both draw an image and inscribe a word. In “Poetpoem,” the artworks presented embody this duality by skillfully tracing the portraits of poets alongside their poetic compositions.
